Yo, peeps. I'm new to this tribe and to Glendale... I've ben wondering:
a) What's that website I've heard about that tells you the traffic?
b) Please tell your best routes to avoid traffic?
(recently I used a funky route to go to Bev Hills, Unsure best way to go to Silverlake, hit sick traffic on 405 going to Santa Monica... I KNOW it will be hard, but want to learn what I can to minimize the torture!)

Doesn't the 110 suck most of the time, also?

Mon, July 18, 2005 - 7:37 PMI typically skip the 2-134 part and just get directly on the 5, then sometimes I'll stay on it until the 10, or I'll take the 110 to the 10, depending. Sometimes the 110 sucks, but not usually on weekends. The crappy thing about the 405 is that on weekends, you can still count on it being bad. -

What about going to Silverlake... do you use Glendale Blvd or thake the 2 to Alvarado... or other?

Fri, July 22, 2005 - 8:34 PMA couple of good ways to get to Bev Hills from Glendale is 134 to 101 to coldwater cyn to Beverly drive. Best in non-rush hour times.
-Or the 2 to Alvarado to Wilshire all the way to Bev Hills. This is fairly clear all the time. -
